The secret garden
The weather was beautiful and we spent a wonderful day at Brodie Castle. We had a great lunch of Cauliflower and leek soup and a ploughmans with tasty pickle, brie, chedder, apple salad and bread.
We wondered round the gardens to the walled garden ,seen above. The gardeners were busy putting in new plants and moving plants from the green houses and poly tunnels by a tiny tractor and trailer.
The grounds were full of a variety of daffodils lining the grass as it lead to the castle. Rhododendrons were flowering and some had finished dropping their petals on the ground.
The swans on the lake were busy nest building and the male was having a fantastic bath in the middle of the lake.
Off to Cromarty for a few nights now, Catch you all when I get back :)
