Bluebell surprise.

Perfect Spring holiday weather, and everyone seemed to be out enjoying it, in our local Country Park, at Oakwell.
(Managed to get the last spot in the car park.)

I thought this collage shows the best of a lovely afternoon. Best looked at large.

The little bird is a Chiffchaff. Singing away up in the branches.
There was bird song everywhere, as we walked through the woods.
Lovely dappled shade, as the leaves are beginning to burst forth.
Such a surprise to see a patch of bluebells. I don't remember seeing them so early before.

There were families having picnics on the grass, and the ice cream van was doing a roaring trade!

Let's hope this sunshine lasts until Easter!
