Barleylands

It was the second day of our trip to Essex and the second day of glorious sunshine.

Determined to make the most of it, we decided to head off to Barleylands near Billericay. We made a good decision. Despite being packed out for the Easter holidays, it was a lovely, wide open space with plenty of room for manoeuvre. Well worth a visit with the little ones.

M'boy wasn't on great form, but managed to perk up enough to feed the calves, much to the delight of all of us. The Carmenator enjoyed looking at the animals too, in particular a couple of lambs that were only two hours old.

Must confess to feeling like I'd spent too much time in the sun yesterday, my head is bright red and I feel a bit light headed.

Too much sun?!! Sheesh.....
