Outing the inner child

One of those days when you are so happy that when you see a swing rope tied to an old oak tree you just grab it.

Spent the afternoon in Lacock. Had a couple of pints of Wadworths 6X and found the Abby and the beautiful woods behind it. And an excellent little museum of Fox Talbot, the great photographic pioneer.

Stayed at the stunning Pig near Bath which is a lovely boutique hotel with an excellent restaurant attached. Also a full size snooker table which we took advantage of.

Girl racer is home and safe. Always good to have the ducks back in the nest for a while. Well back in the country anyway.

Brilliant day - haven't done it justice, it was all blue skies and love.. What more could you ask for?
