A sign of promise

The rainbow, as seen through the mid-winter bare branches, is a reminder that it won't be winter for all that long. However, there is still a couple of months to get through, with gales, rain, snow - and the kitchen sink. Winters are hard in the Hebrides, and spring tends to be later than elsewhere. We're all hunkered down for the dark days now.
