Carcassonne Cite from 'newer' town

We drove into Carcassonne today which is only 30 minutes from the house, but will leave visiting the Cite until we go with visitors. It is a spectacular sight, wherever you view it from, and you are catapulted into one of the brilliant Kate Mosse books that are set here.
