a bit foggy out

where that grey wall of nothing is? that's salisbury crags.

you don't believe me, do you - well, check out this shot from september from almost exactly the same position. the single tree in the middle distance and the hedge to the right of it are all you can see in the shot above. spooky, no?

no matter how often it happens (including in the summer haar) it's weird walking up the steps into the park and not being able to see anything - like arthur's seat looming up right *there*, and the ruin to the left and the crags to the right. and only being just able to see the tree halfway over. and going out jogging and not being able to see how far it is til the end (tho that one was ok actually, helpful in a way).
