and sticky toffee pudding, oh my

in northumberland for a couple of days, in part for a dental appointment (cancelled) and in part to see my parents (not cancelled). we had intended to go out to dinner with some friends, but the roads were rather hazardous with the thaw, so it was down the road to boulmer and the FBI (technically the fishing boat inn, known to us as the feebie. we were early - the only people there for a while - but lunch was good; fishy dishes mostly but good and fresh, and nice puds :-)

lunch out is A Good Thing and should be done more often!
