Ella Through the Looking Glass
Today we took Ella to Belsey Hall to follow their Alice through the Looking Glass trail. She loved the quarry gardens, sometimes pottering along asking about everything, sometimes taking off at a great lick running around among the shrubs. She loved finding the distorting mirrors then punching her card which she is doing in the blip, with Grandad's help.
After depositing her back home, much to her chagrin, saying "No, no, no, go to Granny's house now" we headed into town to make our provisional bookings with Trailfinders. Excited!
Walking back to the car park we stopped in Chinatown to stock up on some Wasabi peas and pickled ginger. Passing St James's Park we paid homage to Robbie Bobson - as my daughter irreverently calls the great man.
Then home - it'll be feet up, a G & T, and our recording of "Shetland" to relax after our very busy few days. Phew!
