A Lovely Day out with Anni.......
...........and so very many beautiful flowers in this temperate house, I am totally spoilt for choice! The gorgeous Hibiscus turned out the one I have chosen - hope you like it as much as I do!. It was so difficult to choose!
Please look on large.
Anni went to a lot of trouble to find somewhere really nice to go where there were wheelchairs for me and also somewhere for lunch and as it is half term, somewhere where there wouldn't be too many children. In the end, she chose Southwell in Nottinghamshire. If you are ever in the vicinity, do try to visit Reg Taylors Garden Centre and Swannery - (which is where I saw this wonderful Hibiscus) - it is it well worth the visit. The fact that I lived in Southwell about 30 years ago was an added bonus - my old house looked much the same and was good to see again.
The Swannery covered nine acres all with easy access and was excellent, especially on such a lovely day.
The plant stock, although slightly more expensive than some, was absolutely first class - there are a lot of monied people in Southwell!!
A very good lunch was had - I thoroughly recommend a visit!
A lovely sunny day but a bit of a chilly wind - it's now 7.30pm and the temperature is reading 58 Deg. F.
Hope you had a nice a day as we have!!!
