Golden Goose

I had a lovely walk around my lake after work. It's a quieter time of the day to visit.

I spied mallard ducklings but couldn't get a clear enough view to take a shot. I just enjoyed them exploring their surroundings with mum close at hand.

The ducks and geese were settling down for the night around 7pm. I just saw this one making it's way out of the lake onto the bank. I was in the right place for a great silhouette!
