Questions....

They have these signs on all the doors at the pool/gym. They're simple enough but always make me laugh and leave me with some unanswered questions.
? why do small children stand behind these doors in particular, is there something good there? I'd look but I may get hit by the door.
? is it only small children that we should look for or is it ok to hit the larger ones or even adults with the door?
? other clubs in the chain don't have the sign are people in this area more prone to throwing doors open in a reckless fashion.
? there really should be a sign on the other side saying 'small children - do not stand here'
? the sign is only on one side, what about children that stand on the other side?
? will I have to step over a pile of injured small children lying in agony on the other side?
? some of them are on the pull side, what is the danger here? The small children, giving you a shock by going 'boo!'
? as many small children can read will they then think it's perfectly safe to stand behind other doors as they don't have warning signs?
? schools have lots of doors in them, I haven't seen any signs like this there. How many thousands of children must be hurt in door related accidents on a daily basis?
