Peace

We were glad of our hats and gloves while the wind whistled up the slopes of the Lammermuir hills. The views across East Lothian and the Forth were marvellous but it was a relief to find the shelter amongst the trees and meditate as we walked along a daffodil lined path. Celandines, primroses and other wild flowers decorated the woodland while in the fields lambs and tiny calves nestled up to their mothers. It seemed a long way from the troubles of the world.
