4.50 from Paddington

Well, we didn't catch the 4.50, but I couldn't resist using the title of this Agatha Christie book :)

We checked out of our hotel, and walked through King's Cross station, which I'd not seen since it had been renovated, it looks fantastic!
I took several photos of the interior, but this man surveying the whole station from the viewing platform caught my eye.

Naturally, we went to 'platform 9.3/4' too see if we could spot the train to Hogwarts, but we must have missed it, because it was nowhere to be seen!

After that, we caught the tube to Paddington, and the train to the South West, to go and stay with mum for a few days.
