Carpe diem!
What a gorgeous day - walked to Saltaire (one of my very favourite places) along the river Aire and the Leeds/Liverpool canal - always a joy in all seasons but particularly fine today - I had my first chick sighting - lots of them - first sighting of a bluebell wood, there were rowers on the river - the blossom trees were in full glory and the cricket pitch was being prepped in Roberts Park - oh happy days!!! I had a cuppa and brownie (coz the walk justified the calories) from the Half Moon cafe and soaked it all in. You'll see the statue there of Sir Titus Salt himself - what a wonderful place he created! Hope you're all enjoying the sun and the very Good Friday - wherever you are! xx
