One last punch

Today was the first of the JK Festival of Orienteering. It is the sprint day and usually means a short distance race around a university campus or similar. This year it was at Swansea University, and was planned by a top elite from South Wales. The weather was glorious, sunny but not too hot, and it was almost ideal conditions for running, This is the winner of the Men's Elite, Peter Hodkinson, punching the last control. Tomorrow is the first of two days on high moorland north of Merthyr Tydfil. If anyone is interested, here is a link to the JK Website, which tells you more about the event.
