Bad feeling on the steps

Every time I go down these steps, a cut between the Kenton Centre and an MOT centre, I get a strange feeling. It's not as if they are old and decrepit, being only five or so years old. Also although not well lit, they aren't shrouded in shadows even during the night. Yet still I feel uncomfortable with them...

Perhaps it is something that has yet to happen that troubles me, or just my over active imagination.
