Zoo day!

Today was the emergency departments monthly trip to the zoo to see the venomous snakes and learn about identification and envenomation for our patients hat come in with snake bites. It was very informative and I actually enjoyed learning about it all. We got a behind the scenes tour of so much of the zoo, it was really awesome. We got to touch the snakes and they even tubed a rattlesnake, that is my hand holding that giant rattle! We got to see so much, I loved it all. The only downer was that it poured e entire time and I got soaked to the bone because I didn't bring an umbrella like a dummy. It ended up being fun and a short day.
We had group that night, which was nice, and Jimmy and I enjoyed another day just living the dream!
