journey south

We left Buxton mid morning hoping and praying we made it home safely.

We drove to Sheffield over the hills and down the valleys - so pleased that there was no snow or ice on these roads. The weather was kind to us - but south of Grantham we became aware of much deeper snow in the fields. We arrived home to be greeted by lots of snow and icy streets - don't think we'll be going far tomorrow and there is so much christmas shopping to be done!
