Two Estates and Seven Play Parks

First estate of the day – Cragside. We went straight to the adventure playground followed by the labyrinth, and then the trim trail. We rounded this fun off with a walk around the two Nelly’s Moss Lakes. It was a lovely morning and BB was worn out. We lunched in Rothbury and then headed to Wallington – our second estate of the day. We took the obligatory photographs at the dragon heads, before heading down to the secret garden and the river walk. The garden is a gem - but we have never been when it has been so busy. The river walk is beautiful and includes stepping stones which BB loves. He is also fascinated by a fallen tree trunk into which people have inserted coins. We rounded the walk off with the three playgrounds - the train, the fort and the adventure playground.

A marvellous day, which also included a visit to our local play park!
