More experimenting with the tripod today, but this one wasn't one of them. The good old monopod came in handy for this angle... Up and over many branches... (I did use the tripod for this closeup of a pileated though - cropped, but the detail helped.)

It was such a nice sunny day. We spent some time shopping and wondering about downtown. Not a bad way to enjoy the weekend. :)

Thanks for sending yesterday's to the spotlight page. They seem to have a new way to figure that out... but I'll take it... :)
