Coombe Cellars
It rained all day today, in fact it has just stopped, 7:30pm.
A good day for holing up at a pub; luckily I had booked a table at The Coombe Cellars in Combeinteignhead some time back for us. We were meeting Ann's cousin and his wife plus their friends for lunch. The pub is located in a wonderful position on the banks of the River Teign and would have been a great place for a walk if it had not been pouring with rain.
I managed to take a couple of pictures in the rain before being driven indoors to the restaurant and our table by a roaring log fire (and a pint of Doom Bar). The meal and company was excellent.
Later we drove Colin back to the chalet and had a game of Monopoly with Dylan looking on, finishing off with hot cross buns.
An ideal way to spend a rainy Sunday.
