A day at Aunty Liza's and Lorna's xx

I could not believe it when I opened my eyes this morning and it was 9.30am. Eva had spent the night at her Aunty and cousin's house. I got myself up and showered, then came downstairs to Mike and we FaceTime'd Eva. Liza said she'd woken up briefly at 5am for a cuddle, then went straight back to sleep til 7am. My sister loves having her stay over and it's quite apparent that Eva has a great time when she's there.

We didn't end up collecting Eva til 4pm as Liza wanted her to spend the day there, so Mike and I got the shopping done and just had a chill out day. Eva had slept for 2 hours this afternoon, had her lunch and then we fetched her, as I say, at 4pm.

Eva was so excited when we arrived, she was bouncing up and down and her little arms and legs were going ten to the dozen.

There was plenty of time for a big play when we got back, before it was time for dinner then bath and bed. Simon and also my brother and his fiancée, Jess, were coming round this evening, so I kept Eva up until they'd arrived so they could see her briefly. She was absolutely shattered by the time she got into bed at 8.30. Xxx
