Ballina Water
After a delicious breakfast of warm weet bix with sultanas packed by Mr Matthew Robb we were back on the road. It was another fun day in the car as Jon, Matt and I headed to Byron Bay for the blues fest.
The day was filled with talk, singing, some audiobook and surprisingly a lot of driving. Another accident held us up for about an hour again, but we were still able to get to Ballina by around four o'clock with a break for lunch at Coffs Harbour.
The hotel was surprisingly nicer than I was expecting and after checking in we got things started with a few wild turkey and cokes. We walked into town for some dinner and along the way passed the river which allowed for this sensational view. Dinner was at the local RSL which was not only the fanciest RSL I've ever seen but was also on the river. Following this we went to the local cinema to watch the second Captain America, which we all happily nerded over.
That found us back at the hotel late with an early morning tomorrow for the Blues Festival!
