Batty

Late afternoon trip out to Phnom Sampoe to see thousands of bats emerge from a cave at sunset. They streamed out and it was interesting to watch them zooming over the rice paddies in what looked like bird flocks.

The rest of the day was spent exploring lovely Battambang, Cambodia's second city but a world away from Phnom Penh. It's more relaxed, safer, quieter, with food as delicious. Not knocking Phnom Penh as I like living there but I may start a petition to get our office moved here ;)
