Start of a busy day . .

Unusually for me at this time of year, I had a Saturday off, a busy day of sorting things out, moving things around and meeting up with friends.

This picture was taken from my window at about 8.30am, while I was waiting for the porridge to cook. The old adage 'red sky in the morning, shepherds warning' turned out to be true, we had lots more snow later in the day followed by a clear, starlit night - the roads on Sunday morning will be very slippery!
