An-An

A dead-cert, must-see attraction in Hong Kong for our daughter is Ocean Park. I Blipped a picture of one of their giant aquariums but this place is also famous for its panda bears. The first time I saw these pandas in Hong Kong there were huge queues and a near-hysterical crowd to greet you when you do finally get to see them do their Panda-routines. Which seems to alternate between eating lots of bamboo and lots of sleeping to, presumably, digest the lots of bamboo sitting in their digestive systems.
This one is 'An-An', who was the more active of the two at the time. Although here it looked like he was just getting ready for some serious sleeping. I haven't yet seen the Pandas in Edinburgh Zoo so cannot comment on the relative photographic merits of taking their pictures. However, it's rare for me to see one get so close to the glass enclosure wall as in here.
