Hong Kong architecture

My big sister lives in Hong Kong in a flat quite near one of the universities for whom she used to work. Our daughter wanted to visit her in her flat on account of the cats that she keep. We're still deliberating what pets our kids should keep one day, but frankly don't think they can yet be trusted to look after another living entity. At least from what we can ascertain from the dead plants adorning their window ledges.
This is a bit of Hong Kong architecture just outside Hang Hau MTR station. I'm not sure what inspired what: the tower blocks or the cooling ducts.
