Day 15: Last Full Cruise Day

Today was our last day on the cruise. It was spent sailing back to Galveston. It took seven days for us to finally get a system of highlighting the activities we wanted to do so we could actually have a plan. But of course we didn't stick to the plan. An extra hour in the hot tub never hurt anyone. We did have a super fun day, though. We took a napkin folding class, almost won the morning trivia, Stephen's volleyball team almost won the tournament, we won a twenty dollar bill at the casino but then spent it all trying to win more, and Stephen almost (we'll say) won the "Finish That Lyric" game. Needless to say we were almost winners all day long which is totally fine because we won the beanbag toss (see day two of the cruise). It was a bittersweet day. We were sad to say goodbye to vacation and the crew that we had made friends with on our ship...especially our waiter. We used our new napkin folding skills to leave him some flowers with tea cups in them on our last day. As sad as the thought of saying goodbye was, we were sssoooooo excited to get to see Preslee and get back to normal life. I seriously couldn't look at a toddler or baby during the cruise without tearing up. The honeymoon was a total success but all good things come to an end.
