Lean and mean

Took this on a trip to Compton Acres, a really stunning garden in Bournemouth. These fish were caught lurking in the Italianate Garden, where all the water lily leaves are crimson, but there were plenty more carp as well in the unbelievably wonderful Japanese Garden. I liked the way the distortion of the water made him look lean and mean, though in reality he was, if graceful, rather broad in the beam.

Long weekend over and rather greyer skies today, but I wish you all a good week xx
