Gingerbread House

Another old tradition of my dad's - baking your own gingerbread house.

The kids were very good at the fun part - decorating it. And did I mention it even got red gelatine windows? And icicles (that's what my dad is doing in the picture - it's a more sophisticated skill as can be seen by the concentration on his face).

This makes up for the dire lack of Christmas decorations in our house.....
