Just Out Of Reach

The Squirrels wait with great anticipation for the Leafing Out of the Winged Elm in the back yard! They appear to consider the tender new growth a delicacy. All of this new leaf eating used to send me into a low level panic, especially when the tree was young, but I have since come to realize that it is part of Mother's Plan.
