The Vale Mill

Unfortunately the sails no longer rotate in the wind and the German occupiers of Guernsey during WWII had the top "capped", so the mill no longer shows off it's original scenic charm ... but it still makes a grand landmark ...
It was also my home until I was eleven years old. Not the mill itself, I hasten to add, but No.3 of the terrace in front. In fact, my bedroom window can be seen in this picture ... or, at least, would be if it were not such a strong silhouette ... :o)
