View from Sharrow Bay Hotel

Looking up Ullswater with Hallin Fell directly in front (A great 'mountain walk' for the novice or someone who wants a great view for relatively little ascent as it starts from the top of a pass) Helvellyn or Hellvelyn on the right with snow still in the top gullies. A bright sunny and warm day with a little breeze perfect for sailing - not that I was doing any of those things. I was busy working my way through a cream tea assisted by my friend Pam and consequently kicking the diet into touch. It is my birthday (on Saturday anyways)
