we had heavy snow from 2 until about 7. and I mean heavy.
I walked to the train station to meet a friend and in the mile journey down a main road, did not see a single car that wasn't stationery. her journey had already been difficult - 3 trains had been cancelled and she couldn't even get back home because all buses had been cancelled too.

we did our good deed and pushed a car up a hill, then realised there was no way for her to get home. unexpected guest.

what's more, our Tesco grocery delivery has been cancelled, since their vans are stuck, there's no way to get it here before Christmas.
