Les jeux sans les frontières

Two weeks ago I thought I was on top of all the shopping, cards, food etc etc but it's all gone horribly wrong ever since. I'm finding myself skittering about picking bits and pieces up here, there and everywhere wasting cash, energy, petrol and valuable feet-up time.

Today I went to the Fort and was horrified at Borders. It closes in 2 days so there is hardly anything left, it's all being sold with 80% off and even the fixtures have price tags on them. Very sad; it was one of the main reasons I went to that shopping centre.

Then onwards to Dobbies where their giftshop is unrivalled in the bizarre products it sells.

After a brief stop home I finished off at Browns for some drinks in a temperature not unlike Siberia or indeed the venue for yesterday's blipmeet.

Charlotte Square was looking very lovely though.
