More open heart surgery

Finally retiring my old web server and swapping over to a newer machine.

However, that entailed the complete disassembly of two PC, to rebuild one out of all the good parts. I thought while I was at it, I'd upgrade some of the fans to lo-noise verisons to cut down on the noise from under my desk.

That's taken most of the evening.

Up early for Root Canal - pt 2. Not as long today, only 30 mins. I walked down for 8am! However, not all the staff were in, and the dentist's chair was struggling in the cold. It wouldn't recline! As the dental nurse wasn't in, I was going to have a dentist, with another dentist assisting. They were wondering how they'd get on, and if they'd have differences of opinion on the procedure. Thankfully the nurse arrived just as I was being numbed up!

The dentist had to do the whole procedure standing up. The chair started working in the last 5 minutes.

Spent the day tinkering, and checking my mail (I must remember I'm on holiday).

L was going out for the Lenzie Academy dance. He decided at 5:30 he needed new shoes! So a quick dash out. he was looking pretty sharp in his new suit.

He's been back from the main dance, and they are away to the real "party" in town. They have a place reserved (so they know its a school do). One of the other mums is collecting them at 2:30. K phoned her to check L wasn't telling fibs! And he wasn't.

I don't think I'll wait up...zzzzzzzzzz...............
