Friends!

Wow, what a photo day!! I set out with the 21 and 50 and ended up with nearly 250 shots by the end of the day... all on a single battery! Now home late and just finished downloading the day's take. There are SO many keepers, but the simplicity and honesty of this one stands out somehow.

The day started out quite gray and ugly, but by the time I met up with Yvonne at Cafe de Paris in Monaco, the clouds were starting to break. Such a lovely couple hours to talk to another blipper and feel the excitement of someone passionate about photography. Afterwards, Barbara, CC and I met up with some other friends at the Jardin Animalier de Monaco where we got to see a nice selection of birds and animals. Great stuff for the kids! Here in this photo you see CC and her friend Alice hand in hand. We finished the day back in Italy to dine at a quaint restuarant in the mountains... (Hopefully if the weather holds out, I will pass by it again tomorrow on the bicycle.)
