Graphs, graphs and graphs...

The whole day was spent on trying to move graphs from Gnuplot to Matlab. I was not satisfied with how Gnuplot outputs graphs and so i decided on trying my data out with Matlab. Turns out, what is easy to graph in terms of commands in one is quite tricky to figure out in the other. All i needed was to print a nice graph and it took my whole afternoon away! Honestly i was not finished yet. I still have to finish everything this weekend. It is so funny how a small part of a research poster could take days to finish working on. Sigh....

At some point, one of my blips would be a photo of my trusty bus. So here's one. The bus was waiting for passengers at the Arts Centre bus stop when i took this one. Not so clear as this was taken with my HTC and it was a bit dim.

The first time i knew about the price of a single bus ride in Coventry, i was shocked. Imagine paying almost PhP140 for a single ride compare to just PhP 8.00 in the Phils (oh my i dont know how much is the standard jeepney fare in the Phils now). So a few technical advantages of this bus compared to our jeepneys or even our buses in the Phils. This one has cctv ( see the small monitor at the top of the head of the driver). This has obviously several buttons for telling the driver to stop. And this is a double decker bus. This can accommodate wheelchair users and parents with buggies. At the back part of where i am sitting, groceries and luggages can be placed. And if you're early enough, you could catch the day's free Metro Newspaper. And the best part of this bus, it has the ability to lower itself down closer to the ground. COOL!!!!
