Advent Blip - Day 22
After yesterday's almost non-blip and resorting to Plan B, today wasn't particularly much better. The plan was to photograph a couple of the swans down at the local pond and fit them to the Bingo caller's nickname for the number 22. Heading down there this morning there was absolutely no sign of swans or ducks. As the pond is completely frozen over and there had been some kids playing around on the ice, I'm assuming they've either headed off somewhere else temporarily or the local Countryside Rangers have come along and taken them away somewhere for their protection. The only wildlife there was some confused looking gulls that kept taking off, flying around for a bit and then landing on the ice again, no doubt wondering where all the water had gone. It was foggy when I got there and that just got thicker and thicker until I decided it was far too cold to hang around waiting to be inspired.
So, plan B again and another bit of shadow-play in this advent series. I'll be honest and 'fess up I haven't the first idea what twenty three will bring. I've an idea for twenty four, but hee-haw for twenty three just now.
I'm so glad there's only three sleeps to go until Christmas, mostly because it means only two more sleeps until I can put this series to bed and get back to normal blipping!

Proximity to Christmas indicator backup: People buying as many loaves of bread and cartons of milk down the shops because - deep breath, don't panic - they wont' be able to do this for a whole day on Friday!
