Three Sparrows
or rather, Tree Sparrows. We have a number of these visit our garden daily. The top count is 22, but we often get 3 or 4.
Today I woke up to a bleak and dreary day — which improved by the afternoon. My early thoughts had been along the lines of indoor practice — but NOT another super close macro of mould! Then I tried to photograph House Sparrows at the bird bath, but none came (until 20 seconds after I had packed away the camera to go to the shops!) I ended up with a choice of Bluetits, Tree Sparrows, a Woodpigeon on the fence or next door's red Rhododendron, which seemed to offer a good picture, with a circle of red leaves fallen on the ground. Then the imported picture showed damage of the other night's frost, with a very dead centre! So the Tree Sparrows got their chance...
