Determined swan

The adult swans have both been about recently with two or three of their teenage cygnets - I don't know which of the parents this was but s/he was really powering up the Water of Leith at speed this afternoon. When it got closer I could see the immense effort it was putting into propelling itself; but all under the water, of course, the classic appearance of serenity being maintained above the water line!
