Shortest day

I did venture out of the house today, but forgot to take the camera. :-(

Wondering how long I had before the light went, I went a-Googling and found this. A boring image, but containing the very welcome information that today is the shortest day of the year for us Northern Hemisphere-ites and tomorrow will be a whole two seconds longer.
