The Solway Coast

Taken from the English side. You can see Dumfrieshire and the Solway where an imaginary line goes through to separate England and Scotland. Acres of low lying land that cows and sheep roam on. As we parked we experienced a clutter of people, cameras, of excitement. Then shouts as a pack of Trailhounds went past - completely oblivious - followed by a little one 5 mins later bleating like a lamb. I have seen them before on this coastline and there is always a dunce in the pack with its embarrassed owner spending hours looking for it after the event.
Much sunnier than forecast possibly due to it being 'MY BIRTHDAY' (the sun always shines on the righteous) Back home to a bottle or so of Fizz and a vegan salad - courtesy of my daughter! Yum!
