Swineside

The view looking down Swineside a beautiful lesser known little valley with a crystal clear river flowing down from the old mountain hut , a place to sleep and have some solitude on the side of Blencathra. A very sharp cold wind spoilt plans for a birthday picnic. Today I can officially have a free bus pass. Useful for the two buses a week from the nearest village two miles away. Well it looks like its off to the Queens to commiserate.
