compression
I was getting shin splints when I ran any distance and someone suggested compression socks. I resisted for a while but got some a few weeks ago. I also got compression leggings. Now it might all be in my head- I know the science around it isn't conclusive- but they are definitely helping. My legs don't get tired and heavy and the pain in my calf is gone. It was much easier generally to keep moving.
The downside is what a friend called "muffin knee" which is apparently a thing you get with compression socks. I can see what she means.
Anyone else use compression gear? I'm wondering if I can go about with an all in one compression suit on- my legs felt that healthy after the socks!
Been feeling and being really sick again today think it might be new medication getting in to my system. Though I'm cold and shivery too- I've just gone to bed mainly for warmth!
