Someone's watching

Up the hill again – it’s getting chilly up here. Warm in the sun but a biting wind. We spent a frustrating hour trying to do some internet banking via the club’s wifi , then gave up and had lunch (we managed just fine once we got home). No golf today, just some putting. Using one of the ancient putters HH keeps in his locker, I had several holes in one, beating him easily (most unusual). Think I’ll throw my putter away and go back to basics.

A club member made our lovely barman, Valerio's day with the gift of a Liverpool shirt, with his name and all - a pretty decent gesture, from a Man U supporter! Valerio saw Liverpool win 5 x 0 in the very first international he watched on television, in 1969. It was love at first sight.

Back home, dragged HH out with me to walk the dogs, then we came home and lit the fire.
