nugget heid

this little stroupitts stayed out till 2am this morning. she doesn't have a cat flap so we have to call her in when the sun goes down and usually don't have too much of a problem. but last night she decided to disappear, in the fog and the dark. I was out every fifteen mins or so calling on her, tempting her with biscuits etc but no sign at all.
reluctantly we went to bed in the hope she would be back in the morning. I had visions of her locked in a shed or lost in the fog or god forbid hurt somewhere . I even woke with a start at 1am and went looking for her again to no avail .
in the end, Paul's watch started alarming at 2am for no apparent reason, he couldn't get it to switch off so ended up chucking it in the bathroom and whilst there he heard poppy meowing outside!! so in she came like nothing happened and wolfed down some grub.

today she is being super affectionate and hasn't left my side- lots of cuddles coming her way so she knows always to come home :-)
