Winter Rain and Life in Vein
I had about a quarter inch of snow one day and one day only so far this winter. And, even with that tiny bit of snow that I could see the grass through it melted up as the sun was shining throughout the day. Since then just rain which wants to be snow so badly it seems every hundredth raindrop or so looks like it's beginning to freeze as it's falling. So far just winter rain and leaves that remind me of autumn...
I noticed today that leaves are somewhat like snowflakes, each one is so unique with all the tiny veins running through. This one blew in with the wind and stuck to my window without disturbing too many of the raindrops surrounding. I found such beauty in it.
