Floriferousness..

of a Clematis Montana

We were lucky enough to buy a house (20 years ago) that had 4 clematis montana planted along the front of it!! During those 20 years we have occasionally failed to prune it at the correct time which meant that we nearly disappeared from view under its verdancy!! (I can imagine how Snow Whites castle could disappear!!) It flowers prolifically every year bringing colour and wonderful scent and feeds thousands and thousands of bees.. it was a-humm while I took this photo.
